They serve authentic and delicious Vietnamese rice noodles that locals love, for very reasonable price (For Pho, 49,000 Vietnamese Dong, about 2 US dollars). The restaurant has several locations in the City, one of which is located in Dong Khoi Street (which has many tourist attractions along with good shops and restaurants).

You can try this place for a lunch break while shopping! Furthermore, you can buy instant cup noodles of "Pho 24 Brand" (as shown in the picture) there. Instead of buying "regular" instant noodles of VIFON (picture), you can buy Pho 24 instant noodles for your loved ones.
2) For traditional South Vietnamese food, we strongly recommend Royal Saigon on Bui Vien Street, in Bui Vien (Backpacker) District.

3) If you feel like eating BBQ, you should try at BBQ & Beer, De Salita on Le Thanh Ton Street (29 Le Than Ton, P. Ben Nghe, Q1; (08)3827-3622.
BBQ beef, pork and chicken are available, all of which have a very distinct charcoal flavor. Beer selection is great as well.

5) Finally, for Vietnamese Sandwiches called Banh Mi, （最後にベトナムのサンドイッチ、バンミーなら）
we recommend two places: One is Nyu Lan near Bitexco Financial Towers (on Ham Nghi Street); 50-64-68 Ham Nghi St., (08)8292-970. Their sandwich is very delicious, but the guy who made it could not speak English at all. Somehow we could communicate with him and buy such delicious sandwich. There is dining space available, but you could take the sandwich out.
（２つのお店を紹介します。一つは、ファイナンシャルタワーのあるHam Nghi StreetにあるNyu Lanというお店です。とても美味しいのですが、お店の人は英語が通じないかもしれません。食べるスペースはお店内にあるようですが、お持ち帰りもできます。）
Another good Banh Mi shop is Huynh Hoa on Bui Thi Xuan Street near Bui Vien (Backpacker) District. This place is very popular among the locals and always crowded that you have to wait in line for a little before your turn comes. There is no dining space.
（別のお店は、Huynh Hoaというところで、ブイビエン地区近くのBui Thi Xuan通りにあります。地元の人にとても人気なので、いつも込んでいて結構待たなくてはいけないかもしれません。お持ち帰り専門です。）
